Dr. Meier received the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1998. Iowa State University also granted her B.S. degree in Animal Science in 1994. Dr. Meier has completed three years of post-doctoral training at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine: a small animal medicine and surgery internship (1998-1999), a radiology internship (1999-2000), and a one year of a three year radiology residency (2000-2001) Dr. Meier likes to incorporate “holistic medicine” into her treatments for a more integrated medicine approach.
Dr. Meier maintains professional memberships in the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA). She currently holds a license to practice Veterinary Medicine in the State of Wisconsin.
Dr. Meier enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, and reading. She has two cats named “Mr. Hockey Puck, III” and “Chico”. She also has a Chihuahua named “Add A Pearl”. Dr. Meier has also been a Big Sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization in Ozaukee County since 2006.
