Desi has worked in the animal field since she was 13 years old. She got her start by helping her step-mom run two thriving doggy daycare businesses in the Milwaukee area, and since then, she has worked in several clinics as a Certified Veterinary Technician. 

Desi received her veterinary technician certification in 2016 after graduating from the vet tech program at Milwaukee Career College. She loves spending time with family, the outdoors, reading and listening to music. She is better known as “the chihuahua whisperer” by her coworkers, and has a chihuahua mix of her own, Merit, and a cat named Milo.
